Preparing For Your Design Appointment
At the Halen Design Center, you'll shop for the materials and finishes that go into building your new home. Everything is selected at our Design Center, where we continuously update our selections; making sure we always have a mix of classic choices, as well as today’s latest trends.
Design appointments are scheduled once all of your floor plan revisions are complete, but there are a few things you can do to prepare and get organized prior to your appointment.
How to Complete a Walk Thru
Before you close on your new Halen Home you will have the opportunity to go through the home, looking at all the features and taking note of any potential defects. This video explains the process and what to expect at your walk thru.
When you build with Halen Homes you have a one-year limited warranty on the different features of your home. Each of these features has minimum performance standards that are outlined in the Halen Warranty Manual. Our performance standards are governed by the Residential Construction Performance Guidelines for Professional Builders and Remodelers published by the National Association of Home Builders. In addition to the warranty provided by Halen, many of the products in your home carry a manufacturer's warranty.

Navigating the Customer Portal
Anytime you have a warranty claim, we ask that you enter it into warranty through the Online Customer Portal. The customer portal is how we manage claims and schedule any of our building partners that may also be needed for a warranty appointment.
